Doing business your way is not something to take lightly. If you want to make money, there has to be some structure and the ‘your way’ part is where you get creative license to define what that structure is.
No matter what your unique structure is, it will have to have specific components from a practical business standpoint otherwise, you’ll find yourself all over the map and likely struggling just to keep yourself afloat and stay positive in the game.
The following is a skeleton to help you create some structure within your business. You can work from this as a baseline and customize it however you want but, the idea is to help you think about creating a foundation with which you evolve over time. The beauty of doing business your way is that you can change things up anytime and in fact, change is necessary if you want to monetize, strengthen and potentially expand your business.

REASONS WE GET UNSTUCK INCLUDE:
All of this is easily fixable. The journey is as much about personal growth as business growth and I can appreciate wanting results -- but, everything happens in it's in own right time and when we force things, we don't always get the results we want anyway.
YOU are the driver of your destiny but, if you don't believe in that or yourself, you'll stay stuck. Circumstances might not always be our choice but, how we deal with them most certainly is! If you really need self-care, more sleep or time away from the grind, it's up to you to take it. Working on your terms means bucking up, using your creativity...
Do you remember the first people you were awe struck by online?
They likely had something that you believed you wanted or needed at that time. Maybe they spoke your language and metaphors. You felt they understood your challenges or struggles clearly. When they spoke, you believed they actually cared and were genuine.
That’s how it should be but, often isn’t the case!
Let's keep it real, shall we. While self-promotion is obviously central and essential to making money, there are do's and don't's that will make a difference, especially for budding entrepreneurs. If you're relatively new or trying to scale, please consider the following questions:
-Do you really understand what your community wants and needs (maybe more than they do)?
-Do you know how to effectively communicate that to them…going deeper and more personal?
-What proof do you have that YOU can...
You can't build a viable business online or offline without alliances. Building social alliances strengthens your visibility, engagement and sense of purpose. Building social alliances is an absolute must if you're thinking long range.
Building social alliances is all about connectivity and it's very personal! You can't create a business that supports other people whether you're teaching them how to knit or learn tech, without trusting alliances.
Three categories to consider for alliances are; Clients, Peers and Influencers.
Happy Clients: People who've received enough value from us they are willing to share us with friends. They trust in us based on results they've received from working with us or using our products and that trust is currency. If you've ever had bad food, service or both in a restaurant, that's what you'll share. You won't recommend it to friends. The same is true with any business, program or service. That's why it's important you focus on your customer or clients...

When you're an emerging solo-entrepreneur achieving goals in a reasonable time can be challenging. A great goal might be creating sustainable income so you can add to your team and plan out the year well in advance. Goals are something I’ve struggled but, working for myself has helped me get better at it. Having multiple goals at once leads to stagnation. For many entrepreneurs, the biggest challenge is choosing one goal at a time and persevering without getting sidetracked. Sound familiar?
Goals become stagnant when our structure to achieve them isn't clear or if they don't align on a soul level. As the 'boss' of your business, it's imperative you create systems and structures to align with your business values and intentions.
